Children's Musical
For years, the Children’s Christmas musical has been going on. It is available to children from second to sixth grade. With music and skits combined, the musical gives children a chance to worship our Lord and Savior and to learn by memorizing lines and songs. Starting in September, the children go through a course of Sunday practices, then toward the musical, some Tuesday and Thursday practices take place. Parents get a chance to see their child on either Saturday at 6:00pm, Sunday at 8:45am, or Sunday at 10:45am. The musical has and always will be a wonderful experience.
" I have only been in the musical for fifth and sixth grade, but during those two years, I have come a long way. In 2005, I had a chance to solo and to dance to a boppin’ beat, and in 2006, I performed a duet and a dance with some really great people. The songs easily got stuck in my head, but they sure praised and worshiped the one and only true God, Jesus Christ. Everyone had a wonderful time and Bonnie Dooley and her “crew” helped pull it all together in an organized fashion. I loved the musical, and it’s sad to leave, but I will always have the memories of those wonderful years."
