MOPS Bible Studies
Classes meet September thru May on most 2nd and 4th Thursdays. This season we are pleased to offer two dynamic options for the Day MOPS attendees and one option for the Night MOPS attendees.

BREAKING FREE: Making Liberty in Christ a Reality ~ (Fall and Spring)
A Beth Moore Study
Leader: Debbie Riordan
Do you want to know, believe, and find satisfaction in God? Based on Isaiah 6:1-14, this study will help you experience His peace, enjoy His presence, and the freedom Christ promised as reality in your daily life. You learn to discover true spiritual freedom by identifying spiritual strongholds and removing obstacles that hinder you from enjoying the benefits of a relationship with God. The truth will set you free.
BIBLE BASICS ~ (Fall and Spring)

If you've never studied the Bible before, these studies are for you! By studying the Bible, you will discover how to know God in a deeper, more personal way. The following four topics will be investigated. . .
Why Believe? Investigate Evidence for Faith ~ What is faith? Is it merely a blind leap in the dark, or is there actual evidence to support belief? This new study invites you to investigate scientific and historical evidence that substantiate the Bible’s claims of the existence of God. You will learn God has left a message for us, and He desires a personal relationship with you.
Who is Jesus? ~ Make the discovery of who Jesus is and how you can know Him. You will learn why Jesus came to earth, what His coming has to do with you, and whether you will ever see Him.
What is God like? ~ Meet the Creator of life and the Sustainer of all things. As you study God’s eternal characteristics, you will learn that He is majestic, all-powerful, holy, faithful and just.
Where is the Holy Spirit? ~ Learn what the Holy Spirit does in the life of a Christian and how the Holy Spirit can help you grow to be more like Christ.

LORD, TEACH ME TO PRAY: PRACTICING A POWERFUL PATTERN OF PRAYER ~ (Offered in the Fall only)
A Kay Arthur Study
Leader: Bev Zier
Based on key elements found in the Lord’s Prayer, this study is for any woman who may struggle with a variety of issues related to prayer, including keeping prayer a priority. This immensely practical and encouraging study will lead participants to experience a richer and fulfilling prayer life.
