Please cry out to God to do a miracle for my husband Jason's and my marriage.
He wants to leave our son and me. He has not left yet but has said he plans to next week or the following week. Please pray that God would soften my husband's heart and that God would have my husband repent.
Please pray that if my husband isn't genuinely saved that God would have my husband come to salvation and be saved before he leaves.
Our 17 year old son is horribly hurt. He says he is through with praying and is very upset.
Please ask God for a miracle for us and ask God to heal my husband, son, and me.

Velma
Velma's husband, George, just received his clean bill of health from cancer, and the news came that Velma, who had liver and bladder cancer in the past, now has it back again.

Niece-Rachel
My niece, Rachel is 18, unmarried and pregnant. She is about 8 weeks from her due date. She has had a variety of complications. Yesterday she spent the day in the hospital trying to determine if she had pneumonia or a blood clot in her lung. No definitive diagnosis was made. Please pray that Rachel would get as close as possible to her due date before giving birth. Also pray for the safe delivery of a healthy baby. The whole situation has been very difficult for her parents. Pray for God's grace in their lives.

mother dying
Update - Alvin's mother passed away on 7/14.

Gwen and Alvin are driving to St. Louis to be with Alvin's elderly mother who has been put into hospice care for cancer, and is not expected to live much longer.

Jack S.
Jack is doing well following his knee surgery. He may be discharged from the hospital today or tomorrow. He plans to return to work next week. He is able to walk on his own. The tissue samples that were removed during surgery have not grown any bacteria - which is a good thing. Praise the Lord! Thank you for praying.

Sharon M's father
Sharon's dad had a stroke several weeks ago while he was visiting here from Texas. Since then, they've seen much improvement, but he had a set back last week with his blood pressure. Please pray for him, for family relations, and for this transition time being here and trying to get back to Texas.

Praise - Mother, Virginia, is starting to walk again in her recovery from the broken ankle. Please pray for her to regain confidence. Also, pray for her to know which of two apartments she should live in.

family counseling
Bobbie P. called for prayer for her niece, Heidi, and Heidi's fiancee, Matt. They are in counseling to resolve issues prior to getting married. They have 2 children and want to establish a home together.

Karen - court hearing
Ginny P's daughter has a court hearing tomorrow to resolve a disagreement over some parenting issues. Pray for wisdom for the judge and for Karen (Ginny's daughter). Also pray for peace and calmness for Karen and her son Thomas.

Jack S's Surgery Update
Jack's knee surgery went well today. The doctor cleaned out a lot of scar tissue and infection. Since then he has passed two blood clots through his drain tube. He is running a fever this evening. He cannot go home until his temperature is normal for 48 hours. He may be able to leave Swedish Hospital around Saturday.

Tracy C. - infection
Ginny Powell is requesting prayer for some of her family members. Her daughter Tracy C. had surgery for breast cancer about a year ago. She has had a lot of Chemo and radiation which has weakened her immune system. They discovered yesterday that she has an infection in the arm where the chemo port was. She has been getting IV antibiotics for 2 days. The doctors do not know the type of infection as
yet. Pray that she would respond to the antibiotics and for her to have strength and perseverance from the Lord.

Larry's cousin Mike
Larry P.'s cousin Mike came through the surgery well. However, the doctors were not able to repair all the damage. Mike and his wife are discouraged. Pray that his wife Judy would be patient in her care of him. Pray the pain would be controlled with medication.

Surgery today
Darla called requesting prayer prayer for herhusband, Jack. He is having surgery this morning at 11:45 on his knee. They will go in to assess the infection and then determine if they need to remove the prosthesis or put in more antibiotics. He is at Swedish hosp. and the length of stay will be determined by the amount of surgery needed. Pray for Darla too,as she waits for news from Jack's surgeon.

Bobbie's granddaughter
Pray for Bobbie's daughter-in-law, April, as she works through behavioural issues with her daughter. These problems are due to autism. Pray April and Jason would be consistent and work together. Pray for relief of stress for April. She needs to include herself and spiritual issues in daily planning.

Bobbie's son Andy and Jennifer, his girlfriend, have a baby that is due to be born today. Pray the baby would arrive safely in God's timing with no complications.

Andy's hip
Bobbie would like for us to continue to pray for son Andy's recovery from hip surgery May 16th. Pray for lessening of pain and for Andy to have balance and wisdom in planning activities.

Kelsey and Carol have been attending FBC for many years. Kelsey is in the hospital with internal bleeding. Drs are running tests on him this morning, but they are not sure where he is bleeding from. He has had two units of blood during the night.

New Baby on the way
Please pray for our son and his wife. She is checking into the hospital tonight. They will be inducing labor first thing in the morning. Pray for the safe arrival of the new grand baby and that Armene' would not hemmorage like she did when her last daughter was born. Also pray for our son to be patient with her and that he would be good support.

Prayer needed for surgery
Chris T. asked that we would pray for his granddaughter who is 2 years old. She is having surgery on Wednesday, at 1:00 P.M. The surgery is to correct a birth defect in her urinary tract. Please pray that the surgery goes well and that she recovers quickly.

Travel and health concerns
Bobbie P called asking prayer for her son, Andy, and his friend Brent, who are driving a U-Haul to Tulsa today. Please pray for safety and for Andy to do well as he is recurperating from surgery. Also pray for Bobbie, her husband , their daughter and granddaughter who will be flying To Tulsa on Sunday and returning next Tuesday. Please pray for a safe delivery of Andy and Jennifer's baby who is due on July 7th. Thank you.
